The town of Ansley, Mississippi is located 10 miles west of Bay St. Louis in the south west corner of	Hancock County.	it was
established as a flag stop on the L & N Railroad and was named in for Mr. M. M. Ansley who was the roadmaster on the L & N Railroad.
