St. Stanislaus College Picnic - Among the joyous occasions on Easter Monday, the picnic given by the brothers of St. Stanislaus college to their scholars was particularly happy. The spot selected was the picturesque (grounds) of
Mr. Louis Leonhard which, with the supply of artesian water, proved to be satisfactory to all. The boys, numbering about 150, marched down to the grounds, their band playing and happiness written over their faces. They indulged in all kinds of games, the brothers often taking part to encourage them. They had as guests Very Rev. Father Leduc, Rev Father Alphonse and Mr. Louis Leonhard. After the day's frolic was over, the picnickers formed a torch light procession and in keeping step with the well timed music, soon returned to the College thoroughly tired out but satisfied with themselves and the whole world.
