Platz, Mrs. Chas., has rented the beautiful and spacious "Bay View" villa from Mr. Fred Jordy. (SCE 04/29/1893)

 

Platz, Mrs. Chas., who so ably entertains a nice number of guests at "Bay Villa", gave a enchre party Saturday evening.  The villa was nicely decorated for the occasion, dainty refreshments served and the affair highly enjoyed. (SCE 7/29/1893)

 

Our Lady of the Gulf: The garden party and Biblical tableaux, given Saturday evening at the catholic shady grove, under the supervision of Platy, Mrs. Chas. and her guests, was a perfect success.  Miss Onorato, Rose of New Orleans, was the successful contestant for a diamond ring. The refreshment booths were liberally contributed to, and Allen, Mrs. Annie, gave an immense cake.  The proceeds will be appropriated to the church of Our Lady of the Gulf. (SCE 09/09/1893)

Pursuant to a decree rendered in the above entitled cause by the Hon. Chancery Court of Hancock county, at the July Term, 1893, thereof, I will on Monday, October 2nd 1893, at the front door of the courthouse of Hancock county, Miss. in the city of BSL, within the legal hours  sell at public auction to the highest bidder, for cash, the following described property: to be sold to make partition between the parties interested, to wit: situate, being and lying within the corporate limits of the city of BSL county of Hancock, state of Mississippi, on the north side of Goodchildren street and on the west by land of Valery Rochon. Being the same lot of land that was deeded to said A. J. Plough and Azzo L. Plough, Jr. by Azzo L. Plough and recorded in Book N, on page 489, of the registry of deeds of Hancock county, on the 15th of April, 1891.
