Conrad Sick has been a resident of Bay St. Louis for the past fifteen years; he was formerly the principal dealer in building materials, and is at present engaged in the manufacture of rough and dressed yellow pine lumber, catering principally to the local trade; his saw mill and planeing mill is located on the edge of Bay St. Louis, almost opposite the Peerless Oyster Factory. Mr. Sick in connection with his lumber business, owns and operates the gasoline tow boat "BESSIE B" he is one of the principal land owners at Bay St. Louis, owning some of the choicest realty on the beach front; he has always taken a very active part in all movements for the advancement and upbuilding of Hancock County (HCSB pg 29)

Sick, Mr. and Mrs. Geo., last Sunday enjoyed a pleasant surprise by a visit from all their children. The visit was made in honor of a son-in-law, Mr. L. D. Arnoutt, of Galveston, Texas, who arrived in the Crescent City and was escorted over by Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Magurette and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Marshal and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sick, Mr. Geo., last Sunday night at his home gave a dance, which was one of the most delightful events of the summer season. The affair was without previous arrangements, gotten up within an hour, and considering this the affair was attended very largely. The Misses Weiss succeed admirably in entertaining. Dance was, of course, the main feature of the evening and with good music kept up until a very late hour. Those fortunate to be present were Misses Dowling, Bella Wemett, Lulu Anderson, L.Hazen, C.
