Walker, Dr. W. E., returned yesterday from Jackson, Miss. At Columbus, Miss, last May, during the meeting of the Mississippi State Dental Association, he was elected as one of the five members of the association which was chosen by the State dentists to be appointed by the Governor on the next Mississippi State Dental Examining Board. The Doctor received his appointment from the Governor last week and also a summons to Jackson for the purpose of organizing the Board. (SCE 11/19/1892)

Walker, W. E., Dentist, is a graduate of the Baltimore college in dental surgery and has been practicing nine years but has had an experience under his father of fifteen or more years. Walker, Dr. W.E., who is in Chicago, writes interestingly to the editor and says: "We arrived here a week ago tonight, and have been enjoying ourselves immensely, attending the dental meeting and between times going to the Fair. The Exposition is a great success, and the conventions are instructive and interesting. Walker, Dr. W.E., and mother with Miss Lizzie Walker and J. Mort Walker, returned on Monday from the World's Fair. The doctor was present at the great Dental Convention, and returns home fully satisfied with what he saw and heard. During their stay they met many friends and were royally entertained by Messrs. Brown, Miss Rebecca, daughter of the late Geo. W. Brown, of Pearlington, and Mr. W.W. Wallace, of Blocton, Ala., on Thursday the 22nd, were married at the M.E. Church, South, Rev. T.W. Adams, officiating. They were attended by four couples. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride's mother. (SCE 12/31/1892)
