The DAR record of James Lee's decendants (DAR Lineage No. 4*i~*412) lists all of James Lee's Children. His wife's name was Celia (SeJLah) Rogers, daughter of James Rogers and Mary Thomas. Mary Thomas's parents were John Thomas and Mary Woodson.
James and Celia Lee's children were James, Jr., Rogers, Thomas, Peyton, Theresa, Frederick, and Tabitha.
James Le?, Jr. married Sophia Lee. Where he settled at is net known by this writer but perhaps he migrated to Texas as some of cnir oral history records.
Rogers Lee married Sarah Sutton. He died in 1837 in New Hamrrer County, N. C.
Thomas Lee married Sophia and according to the 1850 arid 1860
census records he remained in New Hanover County, N. C. The 1850
census of New Hanover County listed him as follows:
