A special telegram from Gainesviille, 22nd, says: Sunday was the saddest day this town has had for some years.  The occasion was the assembling of the Farmers' Alliance from the surrounding country to pay their last respects to their deceased brother, Juo. A. Kehmar, Sr., who died some time since.  They assembled in the church, formed and marched to the grave where they went through the usual form.  They returned to the church where an excellent address was delivered by Elder A. McIntosh, Jr., Chas.  Taconi, and Leon Capdepon as Kings, with Misses Belle Tonry, N. Courtenay, M. Favre, Angelina-  Ladner, Miss Ida, and Mr. Simon Nicaise, on Thursday evening at 5:30 o'clock, February 9, 1893, at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. E. Ladner, were married.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Alphonse who addressed the happy young couple in words that were equally eloquent as full of meaning and won the admiration of all present.  The attendants were Mr. E. Ladner of Kiln P.O., and Miss Clementin Ladner, Mr. R. Nicaise and Miss Angelina Favre.  The bride and maids of honor were elegantly attired.  Dancing was indulged in till the dawn of morn, when the newly-wedded pair took their departure for their home at Bayou Lacroix.  The writer extends best wishes and hopes the path of life for Mr. and Mrs. Nicaise may be a smooth one and strewn with heaven's choicest blessings.  (SCE 02/11/1893) , (WAVELAND)

  The bride is a daughter of Kerry and Ann Tynes of Polarville.

  The groomÂ’s parents are Irvin and Bonita Favre of Pass Christian, Ms..
