Fayard, F.- Ruhr, Wm., was elected President in the twentyfourth annual election of officers for the Independent Hope Hook and Ladder Fire Company, No. 1, held at their hall last Monday night. Other results were as follows: R. S. Knight, vice-president; foreman, R. Attaway; first assistant foreman, J. J. Manieri; second Assistant foreman, Louis Fayard; treasurer, E. Murtagh; secretary; flag bearer, Charles Chadwick; banner bearer, F. Fayard; engineer, J. P. Foster.
