Tripler, Mrs. Mary A., and Mr. W. R. Chaffin, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony on Monday evening, Judge J. E. Saucier officiating.  The attendants were Mr. Hall of Louisville, Ky., and Miss Mary Maddern, of this city. Tucker, Capt. George D., returned this week from a cruise around the islands, and while at Deer Point, about seventy-five miles south east of the Bay, discovered the wreck of the sloop "ST. PAUL".  The boat was owned and commanded by Capt. Paul Barabino, and was engaged in the Pearlington oyster trade.  Captain Tucker reports the "ST. PAUL" a total wreck, with bottom side up, with the body of the unfortunate captain lashed to the center board. (10/28/1893)

Tudury, Peter- Becker, Ed. - The other morning Mr. Ed. Becker hooked 18 speckled beauties at the draw.  Messrs. Becker and Peter Tudury catch fish when they want.  They are expert anglers.  (SCE 11/19/1892)

Toulme, Mayor, has appointed for the elections next Wednesday, Messrs. E. C. Gardebled, Joseph E. Saucier, and Peter Tudury as commissioners of the election and recommended Mr. Chalmette Villars as ticket commissioner, and G. F. Dabney and W. H. Meek as clerks and R. A. Tudery, Mr. and Mrs. Peter, on Main Street, whose child was severely burned about the lower limbs while thrusting a newspaper into the open hearth, immediately summoned medical assistance, and the injuries were pronounced not necessarily fatal.  (SCE 1-6-1894)

Turcotte, Robert - At the last meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen it was decided to put on a force of policemen at night patrol the front and watch the residences of Waveland.  The citizens are proud of this action of the Board and commend it highly.  Mr. S. R. Knight and Mr. Robert Turcotte were appointed as policemen.  This is quite truly a good selection.  (SCE 8/20/1892)
