Bourgeois, Randolph Sr.  -  September 25, 1960

Final rites were Tuesday for Randolph Bourgeois, Sr., game warden for the state for the last 21 years.

He died Sunday at 12:55 P. M. in his home, 447 Ballentine St. He had been in poor health for some time. A cousin, Raymond Bourgeois, had died only a few hours before at his neighboring home.

Religious services were at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Heitzman, Nolan Kingston, Vincent Morreale, Peter Chiniche, Sylvester Benigno, Lee Ferrell, Clarence Ladner, and Joe Cacioppo.

Mr. Bourgeois was a member of the parish's Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Per Le Duc Council 1522, Peace Officers Assn. of Mississippi, and Tennessee and Mississippi Law Enforcement Assn. He was 57.

Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Jennie Marengo of Bay St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Jake V. Morreale, Jr., of Bay St. Louis, Mrs. James Sager of New Orleans; a son, Capt. Randolph Bourgeois, Jr., U. S. Army at Ft. Monmouth, J. J.; a brother, Walter H. Bourgeois, and a sister, Mrs. Vital Bourgeois, both of Waveland; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
