Bourgeois, Sylvester - Unknown Date
Funeral services were held here this week for Sylvester Bourgeois, a native of Hancock county and a resident of the Edwardsville community the greater part of his life. Mr. Bourgeois died suddenly while attending a social affair at Lakeshore Club.
Services were held at Fahey Funeral Home with religious services at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic church, Father Leaonard officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Ray Harmon of New Orleans. Jimmy Lafontaine, Orey Lafontaine, Roland Lafontaine of Pass Christian, Theodore Lafontaine of Bay St. Louis and Ed Oliver of Pascagoula.
Mr. Bourgeois is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude McGinty Bourgeois: a son, Lester Bourgeois; five daughters, Mrs. Arthur Miller, Mrs. Herbert Tautavoulle, Mrs. Lavinia Faucetta, Mrs. Ray Harmon, and Miss Emelea Bourgeois.
