Ladner, Aglia  -  July 21, 1927

Mrs. Aglia Ladner, a native of Bay St. Louis, aged 77 years, died on last Thursday night, July 21, 1927, at 6:10 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Antoinette Luxich, at 520 Citizen street. She had been ill for some time, due to her advanced age, and death was not unexpected.

The funeral which was largely attended, took place Friday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock, with the ceremony of the Catholic church, and interment at the family burial place in Cedar Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Ladner was well known during the active years of her life, a representative of Bay St. Louis of former years, a type noted for her hospitality, one whom was a true neighbor and friend, always ready to administer to needy and whose daily life exemplified true Christian charity.

She is survived by one son, Roger Ladner, and two daughters, Mrs. Antoinette Luxich, Mrs. Lydia Delcuze and one brother, Evarist Fayard, and a sister, Mrs. Catchot, all residents of Bay St. Louis and vicinity. In addition, many grandchildren survive.
