Ladner, Sylvester - May 13, 1948
Funeral services were held from the Fahey Funeral Home on Friday afternoon of last week for Sylvester Ladner, 71 years of age who died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Edith Chevis on Thursday of last week.
Religious services were conducted by the Rev. Father Bryan at the Fahey Funeral home and at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ennis Johnson, W.L. Bourgeois, Sylvan Ladner, Fred Garner, Edwin Marquez, Alcide Ladner.
Coming from out of town for the funeral were Mrs. Daisy Keel of DeLisle, Miss Mamie Perusett, DeLisle; Mrs. J. T. Eeds, Mississippi City; Mr. Cliff Edwards, Mrs. Loring Edwards and Mrs. Roy Powell of Theodore, Alabama.
