Luke, Forest T. - January 17, 1963
Forest T. Luke, 75, husband of the late Edwina Ladner Luke, died at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, January 17, at Hancock General Hospital.
A native and life-long resident of Bay St. Louis, he is survived by two sons, Foster and Leroy Luke of Bay St. Louis; four daughters, Miss Ileana Luke, Mrs. Juanita Ward and Mrs. Edith Cox, all of Bay St. Louis, and Mrs. Elsie Jones, Long Beach; a brother, Mitchell Luke, New Orleans; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday from Riemann's Fahey-Whitfield Funeral Home followed by religious rites at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gerard Freeman, George Heitzmann, Norman Benigno, Harold Krankey, Gustave Thomas, Willard Gavagnie, Forest Luke and Albert Graff.
