Ladner, Gaston A.  -  October 9, 1969

Gaston A. (Gus) Ladner, 76, died at 3 a.m., Thursday, October 9, at Hancock General Hospital where he had been a patient for two months.

Mr. Ladner resided with is brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Fayard at 128 Bookter Street. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, Woodmen of the World and had been a member of Pere LeDuc Council No. 1522, Knights of Columbus for over 50 years.

Mr. Ladner was the son of the late Alcide and Cecile Seube Ladner.

Survivors are five sisters, Mrs. Lillian Fayard, Bay St. Louis; Mrs. Alcida James, Pass Christian; Mrs. Ester Witter, Long Beach; Mrs. Mabel Bosarge, Biloxi, and Mrs. Mathilda Wimprine, New Orleans; and three brothers, Nolan Ladner, Bay St. Louis; Russell Ladner, Pritchard, Ala., and Delmas Ladner, Hattiesburg.

A prayer service was held at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Riemanns' Fahey-Whitfield Funeral Home followed by a Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Church. Interment was in Cedar Rest Cemetery.
