Eugene Jackson, 78, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ceola Jackson.
Survivors include a son, Patrick Burton of Hampton, VA; four brothers, Joe Jackson, Lewis Jackson, Alonzo Jackson and Elbert Jackson, all of Jackson, AL; his caregiver, Susie Burton of Pearlington, and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lindsey Cemetery in Logtown. J.T. Hall Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
