Necaise, Bessie Shaw - July 20, 2000
Bessie Shaw Necaise, 80, died Thursday, July 20, 2000, in Perkinston.
Mrs. Necaise was born in Hancock County and was a resident of the Seller's Community. She retired from DuPont and was a member of Crane Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton "Brownie" Necaise; her parents, Purcell and Julia Shaw; and a son, Wayne "Dooley" Necaise.
Survivors include two sons, Elroy Necaise of Steep Hollow and Guy Necaise of the Seller's Community; three daughters, Sharon Shaw, Janell Wilson, both of Gulfport, and Nelda Ladner, of the Seller's Community; a brother Herman Shaw; a sister, Virgie Necaise, both of Crane Creek; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport, with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Crane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
