Winklepleck, Lyle W. - October 16, 2000
Lyle W. Winklepleck, 84, of Waveland, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000.
Mr. Winklepleck was a native of Waterville, KS, and a resident of Waveland. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. He was a veteran serving in the Army and was a member of VFW Post 3253 in Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Charles Waldo and Rachel Bolejack Winklepleck.
Survivors include his wife, Lucile Young Winklepleck of Waveland; two sons, Lyle M. Winklepleck of Diamondhead and Gary L. Winklepleck of Columbus, MS; two daughters, Gwyne Lesher of Paola, KS, and Judy Pomerleau of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Dorothy Hiltgen of Waterville and Nadine Lewis of Shreveport, LA; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
A memorial service will be conducted today, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. Interment will be private in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
