Williams, Louise Armstrong  -  November 1, 2000

Louise Armstrong Williams, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Bay St. Louis. She was a lifetime member of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church. She was a longtime member of the St. Rose Altar Society, member of Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary St. James Court No. 6 for 48 years, NAACP member, Hancock County Human Resource Agency board member and an active participant at the Hancock County Senior Citizen Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas J. Williams.Survivors include six daughters, Clementine Williams, Pamela Martin, both of Bay St. Louis, Rosine Jushaway of Waveland, Susan Allen of Biloxi, Donna Williams of Clinton, and Noella Whavers of Duncanville, Texas; a brother, Louis Franklin of Bay St. Louis; a sister, Rita Wiggins of Oakland, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A service will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Rose de Lima Church in Bay St. Louis where friends may call an hour before service time. J. T. Hall Funeral Home, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
