Rufus Edward Hill, Jr., 58 of Berwick, LA, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 in Morgan City, LA.
He was born in Bay St Louis, MS on March 31, 1947 where he lived before moving to Berwick, LA over 20 years ago. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a graduate of St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Edward Hill, Sr. and Viola Cospelich Mioton and 2 brothers, Joseph Cospelich and John Henry Hill.
He is survived by his wife Mary Robisheaux Hill of Berwick, LA, son Robert Hill of Berwick, LA, daughter, Aline Verdon of Bay St. Louis, MS, 2 sisters, Margaret Ann Cuevas of Bay St. Louis, MS, Lori Vivian Lightell of Bay St. Louis, MS, 3 grandchildren, Nathaniel Hill, Tyler Verdon, and Alana Verdon all of Bay St. Louis, MS, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 13, 2005 at Bayou LaCroix Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of the arrangements.
