Lucia, Eula Gardebled - May 31, 2005
Eula Gardebled Lucia, 93 of Bay St. Louis, MS died on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in Live Oak, FL. She was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis, MS before moving to Live Oak, FL. She was of the Catholic Faith and a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. She is the last surviving daughter of the former mayor of Bay St. Louis, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lucia, Sr.; daughter, Eula Ivanor Saunders; parents, Gaston G. and Mary E. Huber Gardebled, Sr.; three sisters, Louis Ard, Irma Bolen and Thais Knowles.
She is survived by her son, Michael Lucia, Jr. of Kenner, LA; three daughters, Annamay Lucia of New Iberia, LA, Mary Melissa Lucia of Interlachen, FL, and Mary Elizabeth Lucia of Raceland, LA. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Lauren Lucia Rutkofski and Kellie Saunders Franks.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
