Irene McCardle Knesel Housey, 89 of Bay St. Louis, MS died on Thursday, September 8, 2005 in Natchez, MS.
She was a native of New Augusta, MS and lived most of her life in Picayune, MS. In 1972 she moved to Waveland, MS and was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Housey, Jr.; parents, James M. and Eugenia Brogdon McCardle. Irene was the last one of 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Barry Knesel of Ocean Springs, MS, Harold Knesel, Jr. of New Orleans, LA, James Knesel of Clermont Harbor, MS, and Arthur Knesel of New Orleans, LA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 26, 2005 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Prayer Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Waveland Cemetery in Waveland, MS.
