Brenda Gay Whitfield, 55 of Kiln, MS, died Saturday, October 8, 2005 in Gulfport, MS.
She was born in Biloxi and was a resident of Kiln, MS. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, MS. She was a Registered Nurse with Crosby Memorial Hospital for over 15 years.
She is survived by 4 sons, Chris Whitfield, Vince Whitfield, Joshua Whitfield all of Kiln, MS and Shannon Whitfield of Pass Christian, MS; daughter Tammy Whitfield of Pass Christian, MS; parents Johnny & Nelsie Banks of Pass Christian, MS; brother Sammy Banks of Kiln, MS; 3 sisters, Mary Gale Ward of Marietta, GA, Myra Shorter of Woodstock, GA, and Tina Ladner of Kiln, MS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, a great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation was held on Wednesday, October 12, from12 noon until 2 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at 2 p.m. Interment followed at Fenton Sand Hill Cemetery in Kiln, MS.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
