Harlan G. "Boogie" Dean, Sr., 78 of Pearlington, MS, died Thursday, November 17, 2005 in Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell, LA.
He was a native of Pearlington, MS. He was a Constable and on the Board of Supervisors in Hancock County. He was a member of the Pearlington Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Dean of Pearlington, MS; son Harlan G. "Boogie" Dean, Jr. of Diamondhead, MS; 3 daughters, Sherry Fillingame of Denham Springs, LA; Karen Rhodes of Biloxi, MS; Michelle Easterling of West Point, MS; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother William R. "Sambo" Dean of Baton Rouge, LA; 2 sisters, Verna Steele of Pearlington, MS and Mildred Slumber of New Orleans, LA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 from 9 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral services in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Turtleskin Cemetery, Picayune, MS.
McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of the arrangements.
