Luceil S. McDonald died on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006.
Lucy was born in Wiggins on July 21, 1922, and lived most of her life in Bay St. Louis after marrying her husband of 62 years, David N. McDonald. She was a graduate of Mississippi State and was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Randolph Smith and Sylvia Mason Smith; two brothers, Carl Smith and Ralph Smith; and a sister, Eleanor Smith Davis.
She is survived by her husband David N. McDonald Sr.; her son and his wife, David N. McDonald Jr. and Marion (Bobbie) McDonald; daughter Marilyn M. Ryan and her husband Patrick J. Ryan; five grandchildren, Christina M. Coffey and her husband Chris Coffey; Lisa M. Ryan-Fought and her husband Rich Fought; Jennifer McDonald, Katrina McDonald and Diane Ryan; and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Camille Coffey. Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being scheduled through Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Main St. United Methodist Church, P.O Box 28, Bay St. Louis, MS 39521.
