Jones, Eva Mae Price - 1960
Mrs. Eva Mae Price Jones, 89, died at 4:50 A. M. today at a hospital in Mobile. She was a resident of Old Spanish Trail in Bay St. Louis for 19 years. Prior to moving to Bay St. Louis, she resided in Gulfport and had been a Coast resident for over 40 years.
Mr. Jones was born on Sept. 2, 1871, in Brookhaven, Miss. She was the widow of Cero Jones.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. T. Schmidt with whom she made her home in Bay St. Louis; three brothers--John D. Price, Vicksburg; Jesse D. Price, Meridian; and Joe L. Price, Brookhaven; five grandchildren--Mrs. A. K. Martinolich, Sr., Bay St. Louis; Mrs. C. E. Cuevas, Fenton; Coyle T. Schmidt, Houston, Texas; Alton L. Schmidt, and Dr. Frank L. Schmidt, Bay St. Louis; 12 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis.
The body is at Land Funeral Home in Gulfport. Funeral arrangements are pending, but interment will be in Bay St. Louis.
