Kasper, James  -  March 4, 1999

James Kasper, 71, of Diamondhead, died Thursday, March 4, 1999 in Gulfport.

Mr. Kasper was a native of St. Paul, Minn., and a resident of Diamondhead since 1986. He was a member of the Diamondhead Community Church and was the retired president of WFBI Trucking and Freight Brokerage Company. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elk Lodge, AARP, Diamondhead Men's Golf Association, and served as a Hancock County Republican Party Election Commissioner. He was a Coast Guard veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Mable Doberstein Kasper.

Survivors include his wife, Marge Kasper of Diamondhead; a son, Thomas B. Panagon of Germantown, Tenn., a daughter, Pamela Tomlinson of Racine, Wis.; and four grandchildren

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, Marych 7, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home inBay St. Louis. A service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, March 8, at Diamondhead Community Church with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
