Louis city minute books in the microfilm collection of City-County Public Library. The complimentary copies
were given to the city of Bay St. Louis by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
"By placing the microfilm at City-County Public Library," Mayor Bennett said, "these valuable documents will be more readily accessible to researchers and the general public." The 10 rolls of microfilm contain 13 volumes of city, minutes from January 4, 1858, through May 2, 1903, and August 5, 1916 through August 6, 1956.
The library also has early Hancock County Chancery and Circuit Court Records on microfilm, as well as the Sea Coast Echo newspaper from 1898 through 1957. ^
