New council takes oath of office
HONORED-Dawn Vaughn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Vaughn of Pass Christian, was selected as Second Runner-up last Thursday night in the 29th annual Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Queen Contest. Representing Diamondhead, Miss Vaughn was selected from a group of 15 contestants from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Sam Favre, a Bay St. Louis attorney, is ruling over the events as King tfeptune, 1977.
