Thank you for your interest in Hancock County. We are delighted with the opportunities which have developed as a result of the Mississippi Gaming Control Act of 1990. We of the Hancock County Tourism and Gaming Association feel that this heralds unlimited growth in the tourism industry. With the attraction of the gaming industry, the colateral expansion of the tourism industry is at its most promising moment. Located on one of the nation’s busiest Interstate tourist traffic paths between the Astroworld and Disneyworld facilities.
Hancock County and the surrounding area is rich in natural and man-made resources. The Riveria of the United States is open for development. Along our shoreline, bayous and rivers is one of the richest sports fishing, both salt and fresh, zones in the world. Our sandy white beacne&are the only beaches which, while only moments away, are not locatedT^n	90 and as such present a wonderful
