The Methodist Church was organized in Bay St. Louis in 1881.
Services were held in a small building at the corner of Main and Second Streets on property given for this purpose by the late John V. Toulme. In 1892 the parsonage was built and Rev. W.
G. Forsyth was the first pastor and occupant. In 1895 the pres, ent church building was erected during the pastorate of Rev.. N.
B. Harmon. It was completed and all debts paid	under the pas.
