SEC*32* Do It further enacted,That any person who shall bo con-vlcted by said Mayor for the violation of any ordinances of said city shall be entitled to an appeal to the circuit court of said county, upon giving bond with, security, to be approved by said Mayor,payablt to H the city of Bay St. Louis,” injrf a pamlty of not exceeding twd hundred dollars, conditioned for tlie appear-ance of the appellant at the next term of the circuit court, and for tho payment of such	Judgment	as	said	circuit court a ay
render against him, and	such appeal	and bond shall operate as
a supersedeas fron the tine of giving Buch bond; said 1 layor shal make out a transcript of th? proceedings and judgment in the cause and deliver the Bane together with the appeal bond to the clerk of said circuit clerk, who shall docket the oaues for trial at tho next succeeding term of said circuit court, and all appeals fron said city court to said circuit court shall be subject to the sane rules of proceedings, trial and Judgment that are by law proscribed In the case of appeals from justices of the peace; ana in all oases in any court in which said city may be a party no appeal bond shall be	required	of	said	city in order to ibtain
an appeal, but the sane	shall be	granted	on application in writing,
signed by the Mayor of said city and filed with the papers In tho cause.
SEC.33» Be it further enacted, That if any appellant shall fall to appear In the circuit court according to the condition of his bond,a forfeiture shall be entered and enforced as in criminal cases in said court, which forfeiture shall be for the benefit of said city, and the proceeds shall be paid to the proper authorities thereof.
