Bay Little Theatre slates open house in conjunction with Spring Pilgrimage
The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre wi’J host an open house Thursday, March 77 at the playhouse on Boardman Avenue in conjunction with the
annual Garden Gub Pilgrimage tour

lobby, the make-up and dressing
rooms, and is installing a brick tidewalk in preparation for the opening of Its 40th season and to welcome lsUgrimage visitor*.

An exhibit of the works of Kathryn Baldwin Fltxpatrlck will be displayed throughout the theatre. Mm. Fitzpatrick la an artist whoa* work has appeared in museums and galleries from Louisiana to Florida.
For the past four years she has applied her painting and drawing talenti to capturing the likeness of Coast residents and their children.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick uses a combination of photographs and live sittings to reduce the amount of time a subject must commit to the portrait.
She received her art training at the University of New Ortons, Unlvesity of Florida and the John Howard Sanden Portrait Institute.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick has also taught painting and scultpture at Junior college and elementary school levels.
Recent awards have included first and second place ribbons In painting at the Edgewater Mall Tti-Stale Show in Biloii.
The artist resides in the Cadar Point area with her husband, architect Kevin Fitzpatrick, and their two children.
A tour of the stage and wort are* will be available to visitors, as well as displays of vintage posters, photographs and memorabilia of the 40-year history of the theatre.
In addition to the open house, exhibit, and stage tour, the theatre will host a Spring Tailgate Market on the tfro'inds of the theatre featuring many local craftsmen and artists.
According to LittJe Theatre President Michael Cuevas, “We welcomed more than 400 visitors last year and with beautiful weather we expect 1966 to be a banner year for visitors.*'
‘*Tha Garden Club has spent countless hours in preparation for this event and the theatre Is very proud to be a part of the tour," Cuevas added.
"The theatre board Invites local citizens to enjoy our open house and celebrate the opening of our 40th season March Z7,",*he said.
