This district is intended to comprise those areas which are subject to periodic or occasional inundation from stream overflows and tide conditions and, therefore, are usually unsuited for residential, commercial and industrial uses.
611.2	Uses Permitted
The use of property and buildings or structures in the Flood Plain District shall be limited to the following:
The growing of agricultural crops and nursery stock, and gardening.
The keeping of agricultural livestock.
Public recreation.
Golf Course.
Residential, commercial and industrial uses which shall be located on a landfill or on piling, or pillars of not less than mean sea level elevation of twelve and one-half (12-1/2) feet; provided such fill, piling or pillars do not restrick or impede the flow of waters in the floodway.
611.2.1	Uses Permitted on Review by the Planning Coimission
Other uses similar to the above stated uses as may be detemined by the City Planning Coimission.
611.3	Elevation
Any unprotected land not otherwise zrned at or below mean sea level elevation of twelve arid cne-haif (12-1/2) feet shall be classified as a flood plain. Protected land shall consist of any land located at or below mean sea level elevation of twelve and one-half (12-1/2) feet which is protected from flooding, inundation, or the effects of tidal action by a levee, dike, or other flood protection device.
Section 612. USE REQUIREMENTS FOR A SPECIAL USE DISTRICT, 5-1
Within a Special Use District, as shown on the "Zoning Map, City of Bay St. Louis, M’.csissippi," the following use provisions shall apply:
612.1	Purpose of District
The purpose of a Special Use District is to enable the Planning Commission and City of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to establish zoning districts for rni_xcd uses of land in accordance with the following procedures and regulations:
