ventriloquist act with a doll. At this time we heard of the progress of the Center for International Seamen and Truckers by Charles Corey, Director. The Language Ministry was directed by James Gilbert, Missionary.	Rev	John Landrum,	"Chaplain	to
Mississippi Beaches" directed	the	latest ministry	to the Casino
Employees. During August Dr. Jim Brewer became Interim Pastor for Bayside Mission. Brother Deuschle invited everyone to "Open House" at the Pastor's home. Growth Visitation teams were organized. Six people represented each letter of the word G.R.O.W.T.H. and would visit every six weeks, making it a continuous visitation program. The Gideon Bible Fund was enriched by a contribution of three hundred thirty dollars. A donation of $733.54 was received for World Hunger. Margaret DeHaan was given a pin for her twenty six years of perfect attendance in Sunday School. On October 7 a Vietnamese Worship Service time was held by Pastors Tho Ngoc Dang and Long Le. Our missionaries, Uless and Mary Lee Bergeron, spent the month of December with	us.	We were inspired	by stories	of
their mission in Lima, Peru. The church contributed	generously	to
their mission and loaded them down with gifts to take back on the return trip. We closed the year with two musical. "The City Of Light" was presented by the Sanctuary Choir. The Children's Choir gave the Christmas Musical entitled "The Don't Be Afraid Brigade".
