June 16, 2000 Dear Charles,
Ordinarily I would hand write your thank-you note, but these are extraordinary times.
like a truly exceptional house.
From the time you moved here I imagine the important people in town realized what an asset you would be to our community. With the tours you give school children, the memorable lunches and speakers, and the speaking you do throughout the region, all these efforts have made you a household name in Bay St. Louis and Waveland—and more states and countries than we can name by now.

At this point, including Mrs. Foster’s home, we have four houses lined up with a probable fifth. We really only need one or two more. Again, heartfelt thanks.
You are right that Mrs. Charlotte Foster’s house will be the jewel in our crown. It sounds
Warm regards,
