district meeting in 2006 at the new center at the St Rose Church, Our president’s report won first place. We held our yearly flower show at the library’s Christmas Tree Gala and finished the year with a tour of a bomzai collection and lunch at a restaurant. Our Garden Center was completed in the fall of 2009 with a gala celebration. We continued our yearly flower shows, first at the Library’s Christmas Gala and then with the Diamondhead Garden Club. We decided not to join the Coast Council and instead, in 2010, started holding our annual Spring Pilgrimages on the same day in March as “Second Saturday” held by the Main Street Association. We have financed the landscaping at the new Little Theater and the new Waveland City Hall. We donated money for container plants in the library, We planted a grove of live oaks at the Bay High. We have held annual Arbor Day programs. Planting trees at the Boys and Girls Club and Dunbar Village. We have a garden therapy program at Dunbar Village nursing home We planted a butterfly garden at the hospital walking track. In 2012
