Dear David and Richard;	.	.	.	j	.	_	.	-	it-

As	you	know, the 1994 Gulf	Coast	Wooden Boat	Rendezvous .
at Casino Magic Harbor . in. Bay . St. -Louis closed early’last ': Sunday afternoon in a lingering and drenching rain. ’However, spirits	were totally undampened	and I	have never worked	with
a group	who	were as supportive or pleasant, right	up to	the-
waterlogged end.	■v,'	j
Therefore, on behalf of,„the Hancock County Historical Society, I would like to express the great appreciation of our Board of Directors and our, members for your participation in this event. ■ We realize how much work-, and expense is ... involved in bringing "Skipjack" to a show or rendezvous and especially one being.held in a new or.unfamiliar harbor.	■
Any shortcoming (other than the weather)1 was my* fault in that'I simply did not know enough to anticipate and prevent things ,like the closing, vof . the bridge, and overloading the electrical^ circuit;'	.
I had a. wonderf ulv’time and I loved seeing every boat. Without exception, each' was unique.and beautiful. Toted or ’ trailered or motored or sailed - they are wonderful and you are great custodians for them. ' It was a privilege meeting you, Thank you,,
i-.
