5b000n3	^	FINAL REGATTA OF GULP COAST SEASON
AT PASS CHRISTIAN OFFERS PRIZES OF ^	TABLE SILVER
September 9» 1867
Daily Picayune - Friday, September 6, 1867 - p l+ c 1
REGATTA AT THE PASS The final regatta of the season will come off on the 9th instant at that favoriet and fashionable watering place, Pass Christian.
This will undoubtedly eclipse those which have occurred at Bay St. Louis and Mississippi City, as the prizes to be awarded to the winning boats are very costly, and the public have become intensely interested in the different yachts, and are anxious to see their speed once more tested — those who were unfortunate before — trusting «that another turn	of fortune’s wheel will produce
}	different results.
The prizes to be awarded are on	exhibition at the jewelyy
establishment of Messrs. A. B. Griswold & Co., Canal Street. They consist of rich and elegantly chased pieces of silver plate.
The first is a splendid set of Table Silver; the second, half set ditto; and the third a beautiful Silver Cream Pitcher, Sugar Bowl and Spoon.
