Tuesday, many brother and sisters from Philadelphia and its surrounding areas were in town to celebrate the dedication of the brand new Hancock County Child Development Center, the rededication of Tercentenary Park, and the ground breaking of a new animal shelter.
The dedication of the child development center was a historic one. The center is the first pubic building to be built in
Laura Mederos, director of the new Hancock County Child Development Center.
Hancock County since Hurricane Katrina. The 10,000 square-foot facility cost an estimated $1.25 million, and it was all made possible thanks
