Dear Mr. and Mrs. Caudill:
The roses were magnificent! Everyone who came through the house inquired about them and raved about them.
Mr. Carter Church and Mr. Yancy Pogue purchased the C. C. McDonald house on the bluff at Bay Saint Louis which they completely restored and updated. They most generously allowed the Hancock County Historical Society to show their beautiful new home as a fund raiser for the Society. In appreciation, our members presented them with a very large crystal bowl and your roses filled the bowl perfectly for the presentation and last three days of the show. Your ability to grow such roses is inspiring. We have asked Mrs. Richard to speak at our next meeting and encourage our members to try their talents at rose growing.
Thank you for your generosity is sharing your beautiful flowers with us and our guest. It is greatly appreciated and much enjoyed.
Sincerely,
Charles H. Gray President.
