For and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR and other valuable .consideration the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and because it is our wish and desire that the City own and control the property hereinafter described,	\7e the Independent	Hope Hook And Ladder	Fire Company
Number One, a Corporation duly	chartered under the	Laws of the State	of	Mississippi
whose domicile is at ^ay St. Louis, Hancock County Mississippi through its president in accordance with a resolution of its members at ^ a regular meeting of said Company, a certifies cppji of vii ich is hereby attached, does hereby bargain sell and convey unto the City of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, the following described land:-
Known and designated	on an official plat	of said City made	by	Leland J. ?en-
derson and filed in the office	of the Clerk of the	Chancery Court of	said County on
