Itie lovely Hancock County Court House was built in 1911 designed by Diboll and Owen, Lts. who also designed the Bay St. Louis City Hall. Please note the modified Ionic columns. This building was constructed at the total cost of under $25,000J
We'll turn here on Second Street and have a look at the Old Woddman of the World Building, now being restored by Jim and Dorothy Brown.
They carefully researched the history of this interesting building and were able to use much of the original wood in reconstruction.
Adjoining this structure is the Cedar Rest Cemebery, a free burial ground, maintained by the City of Bay St. Louis and now closed for further burials. The cemetery, ravaged by storms, still has many interesting markers,	~JtzL	aplaoo	c

is very striking and do notice the large oak gree that dominates half
the front lawn — it's/limbs resting on the ground. \U

Italianate — the pink granite column at the entrance corner is classic
Italianate detail.
The next building of interest is Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
Tliis building replaces a Gothic Revival church building which XXX burned in the Eire of 1908.
