Community of Diamondhead gets bigger, better each year
ECHO STAFF REPORT
Diamondhead is a truly unique community, and has grown to become one of the shining stars of the state of Mississippi and the coastal region.
Location, elevation and size make it a very special place on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Diamondhead enjoys a climate in which the sun shines brightly on average over 300 days a year, and has an average daily temperature of 68 degrees.
Temperate winters and cooler, coastal summers provide a year-round attraction for people from all over the world.

Restrictive covenants protect the community’s integrity, and it is home to young families as well as retirees.
The backgrounds of its residents are as diverse as anywhere in the country. The median family income, according to a recent survey, is $50,000-plus.
It boasts two of the finest 18-hole championship golf courses in the Southeast; a new country club facility that provides first-class dining and a meeting facility; and a yacht club suited to boaters and nonboaters alike.
