—Thursday, July 24, was the occasion of big school rally at Dedeaux School in Hancock County. There were some 30 school patrons present including both County Superintendents from Hancock and Harrison Counties, and much interest was manifested in the meet. The Ghorum, Dedeaux and DeLisle schools were all represented and every one to a man voted for a consolidated school. This will give Hancock County one more consolidated school and by bringing the three schools into one will give about 30 sections of territory with an approximate valuation of $50,000, the patrons voted unanimously for a 20-mill levy for the first year. The new building will be a 4-room structure, with an auditorium of ample seating capacity.'and will cost approximately $2,000. The following trustees for Hancock County were elected, Francis Cuevas, one year; Ephream Cuevas, two years; and for Harrison County, Philina Ladner, three years.
