HANCOCK COUNTY
This county is the western coast county and ranks in importance along vith Harrison and Jackson in all material interest except manufactories.
She has $210,388 employed in merchandising and manufacturing.
Improved lands are worth from &5 to $50 per acre, and unimproved land from 50^ to $15 per acre.
The population is about 7500 and the number of educafcle children 3888.
Tax levy 9 mills. No mortgages against farmers.
