I was called and went to Hattiesburg- to straighten out a matter pretaining to.the matter of admitting1 girls to the Natchez Hone. Lrs. H. T. 'Clark met me there and after we explained ever thing1 they saEiaaifaiix perfectly understood the proceedure.
I appointed a Committee to meet me in Jackson last March to go before the Appropriation Committe relative to the Appropriation for the Home. Lrs. 3. 7. Clark of Cleveland,
Lrs. h. T. Clark of Hatchs?, and Lrs. Archie G-oraon and Lrs.
L. Trenhclm of Jackson attended. .<e saw . Kennedy the Chairman of the Appropriation Committee and he assured us that hr- would do all that he could in favor of the Appropriation for the Home, but said that he felt sure that we would not get as much as we had during the past few years as all expenses had to be cut. Hr. Kennedy is a loyal friend of the King’s Daughters and thru his untiring efforts we received the appropriation of $ 7,000.00 a year for the next two years.
There was a called meeting of the Executive Committee held in Jackson July 11th to confer with '.is. r.. T. Clark relative to matters pretaining to the Home in Natchez.
I attended tie International Convention in Columbus, Ohio. u:as present at the Council meeting and derived a .or eat

I have mailed over 800 communications.	.„
I attended a reception in C-ulfport as guest of that Circle to meet i,rs. G-eorge Brown of Hew Orleans, ^.embers from Biloxi, Pass Christian, -ong Beach, Bay St. Louis and Hanasboro attended, lie have gained 1 new Senior Circle and 1 Junior during
