New library ' dedication set Sunday
Congressman Trent Lott will be the featured principal speaker when the newly completed City-County Library building is dedicated at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 27.	^
Prima Wusnack, co-ordinator of the Hancock County Library System, sadid a number of interesting	M
exhibits will be displayed in	'-M
various rooms. One of the larger will be projects completed by members of Mrs.
Rene de Montluzin's Spanish and French classes. Carnival costumes rare books and a letter written to Senator Eilboi in the 30‘s protesting removal of W.P.A. funds for the library will also be shown.
Landscaping of the grounds is also underway and a permanent memorial garden is planned for the site.
This is a joint venture of members of the board, Friends of the Library and Bay-Waveland Garden Club.
Mrs. Dan M. Russell, Jr. Civic Development (HANDS) chairmanan of the garden club, aided by Mrs. Lelyn W.
Nybo, Memorial Gardens chairman; are working " closely with Joanne Palmer, landscape designer on the planting.
