Dedication ceremonies planned for library
Dedication ceremonies for the Hancock County new City-County Public Library will be Sunday, June 27 at 3 p.m. Trent Lott will be the principal speaker for the event.
Mrs. Rene de Montlu-zin's French students will display over 20 exhibits, including a stained glass window and the Eiffel Tower.
In the children’s room will be a pernament Neried’s carnival captain’s costume, and other displays will include a Krewe of Proteus costume and a display by the
Hancock County Bicentennial Commission.
A display of the works of sculptor Richmond Barthe will be a special feature, and Mrs. Barthe
will be among honored guests attending the dedication.
The public is cordially invited to attend the dedication.
