Dear Sir:
We wish to announce to our friends and customers that this bank has duly qualified to become a guaranteed bank, and its deposits eligible to guaranty are guaranteed by the Bank Depositors Guaranty Fund of the State of Mississippi, as per certificate below.
While our depositors have always been perfectly safe on account of our conservative management, now they have additional protection under the Missippippi Banking Law of 1914.
If you are not already one of our customers, we invite you to become one. Liberal rates of interest paid on time and savings accounts. MAKE OUR BANK YOUR BANK.
Cordially yours,
THE MERCHANTS BANK.
COPY OF CERTIFICATE.

Given under my hand and seal this the 29th day of August, 1914.
J. S. LOVE,
